Tyrannikal Mechanikal unfortunately did not win the regional this past weekend, but made it to round three of the quarter-finals. We were a second-round pick by 7th seeded team 494 alongside team 302. We did get to see 85 again, as they were on the second seed alliance with 27 and 910. The first round was a loss for us, but we managed to come back and take the second (breaking the field in the process) only to lose the last round.
We again recieved the Radioshack Innovation in Control Award for our autonomous programming GUI system as well as our Labview powered dashboard systems for driver feedback and debugging.
Once again, we thank and congradulate our alliance partners for all their hard work and look forward to seeing them and our opponents at Atlanta in April.

A special commendation goes out to 85 for recieving the Sportsmanship Award, and moreover the Woodie Flowers Award in honor of Steve Yasick. If anyone deserves the honor, it's you.

2006 Boilermaker Regional Champions |

This past weekend Tyrannikal Mechanikal won the Boilermaker Regional in West Lafayette, IN! The other teams in the winnin alliance were 85 from Zeeland, MI and 1319 from Mauldin, SC. The alliance went undefeated in the finals bracket, and took the gold with a 7-32 score in round 2 of the final match.
We also recieved the Radoshack Innovation in Control award on Friday for our autonmous programming GUI system.
We thank and congradulate our alliance partners, and look forward to seeing 85 again in Michigan this coming weekend.
